I need to do more work on James Old and Mary Lee. So far I found nothing on their marriage and family. Although I do get some suggestions from the Census, there is nothing that indicates their true history. We know that they were married around 1845 and that Mary Lee died young , and at least one child was James Lee Old. I will keep up my research and then "publish" what info I find on these web pages.
Please note that I added yet another page to the index to the left side of this blog. I will publish only the latest documents on one page and them move them to the Library page for reference. It's taking too long for these documents to download! I'll also number the documents so that I can reference them when needed. This should take place in the next few days. If you are interested, I urge you to download and save/print these document for your own personal records. Also you can then research our genealogy and verify the findings.
I found documents on James Lee Old and his wife, Annie G. Andrews. (Our Paternal Great-Grandparents)
It's from these folks that grandpa, James Lee Old and grandma, Joy Bell Woodard came to be!
James Lee Old/Annie G. Andrews were married in 1873 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We have the U.S. Census from 1880 and 1890 listing their four children, including our grandpa, James Lee Old, Jr.
